Description:

A rhizomatous perennial, consisting of 2-3 leaves and a single stalk approximately 4" - 5" tall bearing a single blue berry up to a centimeter wide.

Habitat:

Understory coniferous forests. This particular spotting was in Glacier National Park, Montana.
