Description:

Female moth just laid eggs.

Habitat:

Cement driveway

Notes:

Moth had laid a couple dozen white eggs and remained stationary on the driveway for hours.

I'm not fully sure how to go about such a thing, but I imagine gently sliding them on a piece of paper, and then wait until they hatch (keep them away from pets), and then placing them on a Tulip Tree should be okay.
Thanks, Jakubko! I will try to make the changes. Had not thought about moving the eggs to a foodplant! Is there advice somewhere about how to go about that? And which plants might be good for this, can you point me to an article or something?
Antheraea polyphemus is less of a reddish brown and has an eyespot instead of the white check-shaped marking on the hindwing. Definitely Callosamia sp., I think this is C. angulifera. Are you going to move the eggs to a foodplant?
