Description:
A large raptor with a white head and small black mask across the eyes and cheeks. They are a threatened species in Florida, although they are not hard to find in Central Florida.
Habitat:
Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland, FL
Notes:
This beautiful bird had just caught lunch (it appears to be a catfish) and was heading back to its roost somewhere.
