Occurs from Canada to southernmost South America, and is thus the most widely distributed bird in the Americas.

Habitat:

semi arid dry tropical forest

Notes:

I spotted this in Tatacoa desert.

Thanks, that does help but I'm not good at id'ing birds. Hopefully someone else will be able to narrow this down.
This is some species of Wren. But Colombia has the greatest diversity of Wrens on Earth, with 36 species. And Wrens look too similar to me, so that's as far as I can get you :)
