Comments (2)

The two-colored pterostigma would make this Lestes barbarus
I believe the habitat is incorrect for for Lestes viridis which is found at lower altitude with running water. It was also found close to Male Lestes dryas which it resembles the female more closely due to the dark/light wing panels and whitish rear segments. The pond was virtually dried out, at high altitude and very hot during the day and cold at night, and no other water sources in the vicinity, conditions which only the dryas can tolerate.
