Description:

Black beetles mating on a yellow flower, beetles are around 5 mm in length and, the torso has two dents on it, the wings also have something that seems like a small gap to the rear of the abdomen.

Habitat:

Mixed forest, open area with a lot of flowers.

Seems like you're right, did you just spend 2-3 hrs on this spotting just to help me out? In any case, thank you very much, would not have been able to find that one myself as I wasn't sure whether it was a leaf-beetle, a flower-beetle or some other kind that just happened to be on a flower mating. :)

Hi Gaia80. These are little beetles in the Family Buprestidae, you might be able to find the species looking at Buprestids from Slovakia.
