Description:

The pelican has brown plumage. It stands about 4 to 4.5 feet. Estimated wingspan is approximately 1.5 times body length. It was feeding by plunge diving.

Habitat:

Pacific coastal embayment. The bird was sitting on a barge in which bait fish is stored for commercial fishing.
