Thank you very much, Marta! You aren't ignorant! The head isn't visible in this photo, as I took this with the moth facing downward. Here's a similar one with the head visible: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/34578037
after looking online I saw that they curl their abdomen like this..strange!
I know I am ignorant but..where is its head?? :-)
