If the femurs are black, I would probably label this as Typocerus sp., since T. sparsus doesn't have black femurs.
Yes, they are black. I live in the N. Great Lakes region so that would be fitting. Thanks for the ID and help, Jakubko!
Typocerus sp., were the femurs of this beetle black or is that effect due to the shadow? Typocerus sparsus is usually found in the Northern Great Lakes region.
