Species ID Suggestions

Correct! An immature male, as indicated by the pattern of its wing spots and terminal appendages. Take a look at Giff Beaton's dragonfly-related Web pages. Good photos and usually just enough info to help you ID unknown Odonates. http://www.giffbeaton.com/dragonflies.htm Should help you to ID the other unknown dragon you posted (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/37111055).
I was certain of the ID for this one, I had fallen behind posting to PN, so I downloaded all my photos without going through the tedious task of adding all the information(working on that now). The other I do not have a guess, the insect guide I own is limited in it's scope, and the amount of information online is intimidating.
Did you try to identify this dragonfly, Chester? It's an easy one to ID! Make your best guess and I'll let you know whether you're right.
