Description:

The photo is very bad, I know. I hope someday to be able to fotografarne another as it should ... but perhaps some of you can help me to identify the spider that is located under the trunk where he laid the dragonfly ... I photographed it by accident and I've noticed just by looking at the picture to the PC.

Thank you for the explanation Daniele, I'm no expert ... in Italian the term is very similar to the French: "libellule", and I think it refers to both species, but probably an entomologist contradict me! ;)
Sorry I can't help more with the spider Valentina. What I can tell you though is that the Beautiful Demoiselle is a damselfly (suborder Zygoptera), not a dragonfly. Damselflies are similar to dragonflies, but in the adults the wings of most damselflies are held along, and parallel to, the body when at rest (perpendicular for the dragonflies). Damselflies are also usually smaller than dragonflies, and their eyes are separated. In French we have only one common word for both : libellules; I have forgotten about the Italian :-)
Thanks Daniele, actually I already cut the picture a lot (the dragonfly was very far away). I was curious to know, because the spider seems to be very large (in proportion to the dragonfly).
Valentina I'm afraid my knowledge on spiders is quite limited. You could repost it as unknown and crop it slightly more; someone might be able to give you at least a family.
Thank you Daniele! Can you tell me what kind of spider is the one that is under the branch?
