Description:

A small brown duck with blue beak. They are considered vulnerable in the wild and occur in inland waterways in temperate parts of Australia.

Habitat:

Spotted in the Melbourne zoo. Native populations occur in the Murray Darling River system in NSW and Victoria and also Tasmania.
