Field Notes

Description:

A dark brown moth resting on a wall one night. 32mm from forehead to wingtip. Has small black spots spread irregularly on the wings. Looks like a female. Formerly under Arctiidae but has relocated to the Erebidae family.

Habitat:

Found on the hostel wall of Bombalai Jungle Lodge, Tawau Hills Park, Sabah.
