Field Notes

Description:

Find them nibbling on the grass seedpods. Casually left to grow in pots, these grasses seem to entertain and also feed some of our backyard visitors!
So 'Let the grass grow' !!!!
While this spotting highlights their behaviour during the day, my earlier PN spotting was during the winter - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/16397374

Habitat:

They are very adaptable, diurnal and semi-arboreal species. They are usually found in tropical and subtropical dry deciduous forest, grasslands, scrub lands, plantations, arable land, rural gardens and urban areas.

Notes:

Been trying to catch them in the act. More to come and will be updating this spotting as and when possible. I don't seem to get enough of these truly adorable little ones :)

Thanks Vivian and HarumKoh :)
Yay! I think more people will see your squirrels eating grass seeds now ... and they're also a great addition to your posting about the bunch grass. Double duty!
