Description:

Lions are the second largest cat reaching 4ft from the shoulder. They sleep around 20 hours a day and have a lifespan up to 14 to 20 years. Loin in the past have been found in Africa, across Eurasia from western Europe to India, and in the Americas from the Yukon to Peru. Do to hunting for game and conflict with humans, their are only found in sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia.

Habitat:

I took these pictures at Zoo Miami, Florida, while it was raining. The look on his face shows how much he loves the rain.
