Description:

Cool looking plant. Found it near ship creek on JBER afb Alaska . It grows flowers that are pink or rarely white. It's stem has many small brown thorns. (Extremely spiky)The flower normally grows in June and begins to bloom from June to July.then turning itself into hips which are the little red pear shape bud like things. The hips and flowers are use to make honey and jellies.

Habitat:

Usually grow in big groups in wooded areas and on the forest edge. Located in northern regions of the world like Asia , Europe , and etc.
