Not especially. They predate on bees & butterflies so I usually see them around flowering plants.
Are they found around creek sides or ponds? Along with dragon flies?
Jemma, these species is almost dragonfly sized, but we do get even larger robber flies around here.
Almost as big as a Dragonfly?!
