I hope someone will be able to ID this one for me :-)
Oh, sorry. But, I believe it is definitely "Orgyia" family. Maybe we should ask our ranger about ID...
Thanks a lot Reiko! I think the ID is not proper. White-marked tussock moth (Orgyia leucostigma) is found in USA and this is from India. Maybe another species?
That is my favorite caterpillar! Mine is white, but I believe it is the same caterpillar. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/Files1/Live/JS/JS8316-5th36days.jpg&imgrefurl=http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges%3D8316&h=225&w=225&sz=15&tbnid=viGVZeIIPV71EM:&tbnh=87&tbnw=87&zoom=1&usg=__JJPvB0gOu4i_ggiz4Wb0nZSFY7s=&docid=nAHl8XlXtpe3MM&sa=X&ei=neoVUqzFIYni4AOYlYGoCQ&sqi=2&ved=0CJcBEP4dMAw Here is mine: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/37080073
