Field Notes

Notes:

My final entry from Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue as I no longer volunteer there. This is the very same bobcat from my last bobcat entry, except now he's grown much bigger! He has been human imprinted from so many feedings that he is now interested when two photographers go to take pictures of him. When he is close to being released, he will be hazed thoroughly in order for him to fear humans appropriately. It was good seeing him one last time.

Right on that's hard core loyalty right there :)
I have "Lady Lynx" tattooed on my knuckles, leopard print on my forearms, and the majority of my tattoos are feline related :) And yes, birds of prey are one of my favorites also, but nothing tops my kitties ^_^
Thank you Amanda, ya I'm right there with you. Raptors are a close second :)
Big cats are my fav. I sport my love for them right out there on my sleeves, pun intended.
Beautiful series! I hope he will thrive in the nature after the release. :-)
Thank you very much Aaron and Karen for you kind comments :) I'm glad he made it too.
Lovely spotting - I especially like photo 2! Really good to hear the little guy made it & will get released into the wild.
The end of an era. Thanks for all your wonderful spottings from the Rescue, Joshua.
