Description:

This bug was about 3/8 inch in length and found about 2.5 feet off the ground on a Goldenrod flower.

Habitat:

Spotted on the edge of a path through a wooded area.

Notes:

Lifer!

I was a bit hasty I guess. I looked at BugGuide. But only thought to look at Ambush bugs. I should have thought to do a more general assassin bug search. I honestly just assumed it was a different Phymata sp.. They are somewhat similar to a non-specialist. I should have put here as a 'Needs ID. It was an honest mistake. Thank you again for your patience and help.
