Hi Chief, I think this is Indian Badam/ Bengal Almond. It is very different from the other tree, which is generally known as 'Almond'. The other almond is more related to peaches, cherries and apricots. The genus is totally different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminalia_catappa
