Bright and shiny, yellow, juvenile grasshopper that just molted its exoskeleton.

Habitat:

Evergreen bush in backyard this evening

Hi Emma, I suspect this is a Gray Bird Grasshopper (pending confirmation). If so, there is some variation in coloration. Since this one just moulted, it hasn't darkened yet.
