Field Notes

Description:

Some 25 to 30 cm in length, strikingly white head, neck and chest with black mask extending from the bill and across eyes. Rust-colored line in between white head and brown back and wings. Very social, belonging to fam Leiothrichidae.

Habitat:

Forest in foothills of Himalaya.
