Description:

A small harmless arachnid also called false scorpion or book scorpion.
Australia has 150 spp.

Habitat:

Found under loose bark of a large living tree.

Thanks Mark. I checked this site already and for a layperson like me any guess is pretty dodgey and I would have got it wrong for sure.
This ID was from Dr Mark Harvey at the WA Museum via Ken Walker. I think you will find it in BB. I copied it here as there is no notification system in BB.

Yes, that might be because you have sharper eyes than me. This is my first sighting in Victoria.
We frequently find these in our firewood.
