Field Notes

Description:

Large white caterpillar with tufts of black on areas of the body. Can be yellow and black as well.

Habitat:

Canal/deciduous habitat

Notes:

This is a first for me. I've never come across one of these. I saw the black tufts on an underside of a leaf and was quite surprised at the size of it when I turned it over.
