Description:

When Swallows fly over water like this they are often actually drinking. In the first picture the lower bird had just scooped a mouthful of water and in the 3rd picture it is just about to!

Habitat:

Drying pond on mountain airfield with scattered trees and bushes at nearly 4,000'.
