Field Notes

Description:

This bug was about 1/2 inch in length and found about 3 feet off the ground.

Habitat:

Found on the edge of a path through a wooded area.

Notes:

I think this is erosa, but I'm not positive. Now that I know what to look for I've seen more than a half dozen of these. I first spotted it on a Goldenrod flower, but he quickly moved to a nearby bush.
