Description:

Light green, looks like a small leaf. Length is a little less than a dime.

Habitat:

Backyard in a neighborhood backing up to wooded areas with lots of tall trees.

Notes:

Fast and soundless jumper.

Welcome to Project Noah, ColeHad! This lovely little insect looks like a type of Planthopper. If I had to guess, I would say it's an Acanaloniid Planthopper, Genus Acanalonia. Here is a link that might help you figure out which one it is: http://bugguide.net/node/view/15668/bgpage If you are still unsure which species this is, but feel that the Genus is correct, you can put the genus name with sp. after it (Acanalonia sp.).
