Description:

A uniquely patterned and well camouflaged grasshopper nymph that was extremely abundant on the vegetation, 2 cm long. Family Pyrgomorphidae.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
