Description:

M. Balsamina has been used as a traditional folk medicine in many countries. Used as anti-plasmodial, shigellocidal, anti-diarrheal , antiseptic,anti-bacterial,anti-viral,antinflamatory,hypogycemic,antioxidant,analgesic and hepatoprotective agent.

Habitat:

Found cultivated throughout the drier part of tropical and sub tropical Africa, Asia and Australia
