Description:

Day-flying moth. Forewings are black with large white strikes. Hindwings are bright orange.
At rest, the moth has a triangular shape.

Habitat:

Spotted in western France bocage.
This moth is encountered in most central and southern Europe (up north to UK), and in middle east mountain ranges.
