Description:

This is a small cicada that has a bright green mesothorax and an abdomen that is green and brown.The wings are transparent.

Habitat:

These are found in most areas of the Southeastern jungles of Ecuador. They are common around human habitation as they are drawn to light.

Notes:

One of the more common cicadas around the mission station in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador.
