Field Notes

Description:

These are moth pupae I found attached to various trees around Carmel-By-The-Sea. They were enclosed in a fuzzy outside typical for moth cocoons. There were lots of moths flying around at the time of finding them.

Habitat:

On trees.

Notes:

I eventually hatched these pupae to determine what species they were. See this later post: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/251555096
