Description:

This butterfly was viewed from above, from a hanging bridge over a cloud forest canopy. it was feeding on these fruit on the top of one of the trees 20 meters below.

I saw quite a few different species of Sisters butterfly in Costa Rica. Photos coming....
It was a beautiful butterfly to see, bayucca. The markings were quite eyecatching. I watched it for a long time as it fed on these fruit, flying around to different fruit on the top of the tree and from tree to tree. I had a great vantage point from above, only problem was I was quite high above it.
Nice one! I never have this one seen before!
