Field Notes
Description:
Bird is approximately 2 feet long from head to tail. The tail is approximatley 1 foot long.
Habitat:
Backyard habitat. The yard includes thorny plants where the roadrunner likes to nest. There is an ample supply of 3 variety of lizards and the bird may occassionly dine on our baby wild turtles and garden snakes. (That unfortunately is nature).
Notes:
I have seen two roadrunners in my yard. I believe I have a mating pair.
