Description:

Flying cricket-like insect with black and gray/white wings.

Habitat:

Backyard with medium high grass. Saw a few of these hanging around an outside wall

Yes, the antennae were my key criteria, but I obviously missed that one within the whole bulk. Actually I checked all Miridae from a-z ;-)... Good job, Stephen!
Luckily it has very distinctive antennae!
Looks for me like some kind of a Plant Bug, so some kind of Heteroptera and with that with thousands of candidates. http://bugguide.net/node/view/94266/bgpage?from=5
