I spotted this fungus while hiking Mt. Talinis, Negros Oriental. Do you guys know what species this is?

Hi kirkybit, Nice spotting and a great photo! I think that km1246 is right. I also think that this is a "Wood Ear", a fungus from the family Auricularia. There are several species of Auricularia and the one in your photo appears to be Auricularia cornea. There is some information and a picture in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auricularia_cornea.... However, there are many more photos in the link shown in my Species ID Suggestion.
