Field Notes

Description:

Approximately 24mm wide and 35mm tall. Very red cap and stipe which was narrow, straight and smooth. Gills were pale orange/yellow.

Habitat:

In a grassy area among open eucalyptus forest. Dandenong Ranges NP.

Notes:

Another one I haven't found before in spite of years searching.
Almost trod on this walking along a grassy desire-path but I just noticed a flash of red and stopped. <br> https://bie.ala.org.au/species/https://id.biodiversity.org.au/name/apni…
