Description:

The Pyrginae, popularly known as Flats or Spreadwings, are a cosmopolitan subfamily distributed across temperate and tropical habitats throughout the world. In the Americas there are 990 species.

Habitat:

This species occurs in rainforest, cloudforest and humid deciduous forest habitats at altitudes between sea level and about 1400 metres.

Notes:

possibly Quadrus cerialis, Common Blue Skipper, although the markings are not quite right.
