Field Notes

Description:

This is a very light colored specimen of this species. There is variation ranging from light green to tan to brown. I've spotted a nearly purple one as well so apparently I have an eye for unusual colors in this species. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/16596208
They're easily identified by their very long hind tarsi which have been called "clown feet" with their red color :)

Habitat:

Goldenbush in chaparral
