Looks like a millipede or some such creepy crawly. ID appreciated.

Yes they are James, but this appears to be a pill millipede, an unrelated organism with similar form.
Pill bugs are the same as rollie pollies
I would agree with that ID Vishal, I had never heard of pill millipedes, learn something new everyday. :)
@Chester Elsewhere (on a different forum) the above bug has been suggested to be a pill millipede (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pill_millipede) which are apparently very similar and can be confused with pill bugs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armadillidiidae). I am inclined to the pill millipede classification based on the look of the segments. Let me know what you think.
Looks like what we call "pill-bugs", they roll into a ball when threatened. They are a crustacean in the family Armadillidiidae, sorry can not help with genus or species.
