Description:

These hunting spiders do not spin webs, passively waiting for a meal to come along, instead they search amongst foliage for their prey. They also exhibit a great deal of post and pre-natal care, carrying the egg sac with them until it is ready to hatch. Once it is about to hatch the female will spin a "nursery" web, then stand guard over her young until first molt.
