Field Notes

Habitat:

Found on occasionally mowed grass trail in slight depression near cattails and lake shore, and likely more wet soil.

Notes:

Spotted at Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge near Tamarac Lake along North County and Ski Trail. Fact that wildflower is blooming in September may be related to it being mowed. Wildflower could also be Viola sororia (Common Blue Violet)
