Description:

GOLDFINCH
The American Gold Finch’s habitat areas are brushy thickets, weedy grasslands, and nearby trees. The length of this bird can be anywhere between two to five inches. Males are bright yellow with a white rump and a black forehead with white edges on the black wings. In the winter females and males lose some of their color. Some of which this happens to includes their black wings, the tail, and their white wing stripes.
