An unusually green orb weaver, known from most parts of Australia. Adults seem to be active in the daytime and build a conventional orb web

Please note this is a Slender Green Orb Weaver 'Araneus'. The wiki reference contained the exact image which I believe is an error. I base my new ID more confidently on this expert reference http://www.arachne.org.au/01_cms/details.asp?ID=2406
