Description:
Interesting looking fly with some hair around the eye area, and what looks like a small raised tail on its' backside.
Habitat:
Open and sunny areas. We often see these on our playground hanging out on the metal rods of the swings, on the black rubber material that surrounds the playground, or on fences.
