Description:

Sophia found two red spotted efts on our trek up Coon Mountain. A few days later we saw adult newts of the same species at the Eco-museum aquarium across Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont.

Habitat:

Humid temperate woods, wetlands and mountains
