Clusius cinquefoil

The Clusius cinquefoil is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches a height 5-10 cm. The leaves are five parts fingered and hairy.
Per inflorescence, which tower above the leaves far to one to three flowers form. The hermaphrodite, radial symmetry flowers have a diameter of about 2 cm. The sepals are lanceolate, slightly longer than the narrower outer calyx, both are colored red. The yellowish white petals are oval, emarginate and far surpass the cup. The 20 stamens have bald, often crowded red stamens. The flowering period extends from June to July.
The fruit is hairy at the top.
