Sciuridae

This squirrel’s scientific name is Sciuridae, which is a mammal with a diet of an omnivore. This animal is from the kingdom of Animalia, phylum of Chordata, class of Mammalia, order of Rodentia, and family of Sciuridae. The life span of this animal is 2 to 8 years. I found this squirrel outside of my friend’s house eating from the bird feeder. It’s favorite food is fruit, and it’s primary pray is fruit, seeds, and insects. Which makes sense, because squirrels are in those bird feeders all the time.
