Field Notes

Description:

It is dark blue with faint metallic sheen, on the upper parts, the color extending onto the sides of the breast. It has a pale supercilium and darker primaries and face. The throat and belly are white. Often seen solo, but may be in mixed hunting parties

Habitat:

An uncommon flycatcher that is found in the foothills of the Himalaya in the winter months, usually seen in open forests, gardens & undergrowth.
